BHS Examination Training

Acrecliffe prides itself in its exam sucess rate ensured by our experienced and effective trainers. We provide training from Stage 1 to Stage 4, 5 days per week.

This can be either within our regular set training sessions or through an individually designed personal programme to fit your learning needs and timeframes.

Our training is bespoke and can be flexible, including short, compact courses with accomodation.

Your training will be delivered in a fiendly and professional manner using the resources which will be used in the assessments.

Challenge Awards

BHS Challenge Awards

There are a range of awards at different levels, so it doesn’t matter what previous experience you have with horses or if you’re a complete beginner. All you need is enthusiasm and a love for horses! You don’t even need your own horse as BHS Approved Riding Centres deliver challenge awards throughout the UK.

You can work through the awards at your own pace and advance your knowledge and skills around what’s important to you. For example, some awards focus on horse care and health, and others focus on riding skills and safety.

Changing Lives Through Horses

BHS Changing Lives Through Horses

Changing Lives through Horses aims to improve the lives of young people who, for various reasons, may need additional support, are disengaged, or disadvantaged, or at risk of becoming excluded from education.

Using horses as the inspiration for change, the programme provides an alternative and complementary learning environment to mainstream education. The skills developed through the programme meet the requirements of ongoing education and training, employers and participants.

Side Saddle Association Grade Training

We are a training and examination centre for the Side Saddle Association.

Individual training packages can be designed to suit your needs, time allocation and budget. We prode ourselves on having a very flexible approach which has ensured the sucess of hunderds of students over recent years.

The training programmes are organised by Fiona, bringing to it her expertise from heading the Equestrian Departments at Craven College, Skipton and Abingdon & Witney College, Oxfordshire and supported by Anne who is an international assessor for the ABRS.
